Collecting Data

As part of our core function, we need to collect data from and about your website. Even though much of this would be available to others, shared data receives the same care as personal details.

We do not share any information on your site, use this to illustrate any facet of our service, or within articles that we publish.

Data Storage

If you need to share passwords, or similar information, this is kept on a protected database and not permitted to leave our offices on a laptop, or storage device.

As with every piece of information we hold on behalf of clients, or discover for them, we regard the only rightful owners of that data as the client themselves.

Privacy Statement

Your privacy is our first commitment. Only authorized staff and consultants use information collected from clients, on a need to know basis. Systems are regularly reviewed to ensure this happens, whilst maintaining the best possible service.

Specific offences are in place under UK and EU law relating to unauthorised access to, or actions against systems and data. Whether at our instigation, or our clients, we always investigate such actions with a view to criminal and/or civil proceedings.

Confidentiality

Most of the information we hold is in the public domain, such as business contact details. We do however still treat all data as required under the Data Protection Act 1998, although choose to exempt ourselves from the right to share data with third parties. Client records are confidential and will not be divulged to any third party, other than if legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities.

As our clients, you have the right to request sight of, or copies of any client records we keep, providing we are given reasonable notice. Where requested, we will in any event issue clients with appropriate written information, or copies of records.

We do not sell or share your personal information, or use your email address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by this service will only be in relation to the provision of agreed services.
