Our Ethos

How You Help Us

As much as our support can make a difference to your website, we are equally happy to receive ideas from businesses. Services should evolve through listening to clients.

Overseas Sites

Whilst we would like to help every website owner, the Report Service is limited by funding to websites in the UK, or those with a substantial UK connection.

We receive many requests from sites elsewhere and try to reply but can not help directly. We suggest you speak to relevant organisations in your region, they are welcome to contact us if we can assist.

Communication

We recognise that clients often run their own websites. Our staff make sure all information is easy to understand and readable.

Even if you are using technical or legal support, your website is part of the business, detailed knowledge helps with wider decisions.

Society connected by the web

The Website Report Service

Our journey began in August 2006, initially as part of a voluntary sector IT support unit in Surrey, now a national non-profit service. The first stage was creating a separate website support organisation, Surrey Web Development. This offered a range of services, including advice, website reports, dispute support.

Our technical reports were well received, the Website Report Service growing to offer UK wide support. Clients gave us good feedback, those involved in website disputes particularly so. We were also fortunate to take on board specialist mediation skills at the right time.

As each day passed, the need in the business community made focusing on website related disputes logical. We feel the service is unrivalled, yet offered free or at reasonable cost. From a client perspective, independent, professional advice and practical solutions are available.

The web is a great asset but still evolving, poor support or misunderstandings not unknown. Helping businesses overcome disputes is our contribution to growth. Society benefits from every business being able to utilise the web.

Sharing the Future

With over eighty percent of households having a PC and an internet connection, businesses have a channel for instant communication. Being free to pursue this is essential to consumers, businesses and the growth of new enterprise.

As our policy statement suggests, this is the aim of our specialist staff but they also have a personal wish, to see everyone take part in the future they are helping to build. They are enthusiastic about website development and just as keen to see people able to benefit from the web unhindered.

By all means take a look at the website dispute services we offer. Every website is seen as important, no fees will be incurred without agreement and if we can help without cost, we always will. Please feel free to contact us at any time.
